It is a difficult thing to do and your cashflow is something you have to give a lot of attention to. Having said that think of the example you are giving your kids - I have two young children and I have regular conversations with the older one about business generally and my business specifically. I too have kids and a wife to take care of. It is my dream to quit the 9 to 5 and do only freelance work. The only way to get ahead is to be in business for yourself. The hardest part about it is that you have to be making alot more money on your side projects before you can quit the day job. Maybe we can start some sort of co-op blog for dads who want to be entrepreneurs. Congratulations Dominic! I too have kids and a wife to take care of.
