Day 5 - Roundup

Well that’s the end of Day 5.

Today I did my first “article type of post” - Wheelspin and Traction - which was totally made up by me. I consider this quite an achievement for my first week of concerted Blogging - Just about all my posts, apart from housekeeping, have been written with other peoples posts as foundation. If I’d been told a month or so ago that I would have done this, I’m not sure I’d have believed it.

I think this may signify a milestone in that I am starting to think more about how Marketing a Web Site works.

I’ve also been playing a more active part on the web by posting to a few forums and commenting on some other peoples blogs.

Something I have noticed on many other Blogs (and Web Sites in general) is a copyright notice near the bottom. I have put one on my Blog just to be on the safe side. I’ll do some more research on this - but if someone could enlighten me on its importance, I’d be much obliged.

Does anyone think it is important to have “target=new” when you link to another site? A friend of mine suggested I might be losing traffic from not doing it.

Anyhow. The weekend is here and I shall only be blogging once or twice each day as I like to spend some time with my family.
