Day 2 - Roundup

August 2, 2005 on 10:01 pm | In 31 Days to a Better Blog, Blogging |

I’m now at the end of the second day of 31 Days to Building a Better Blog.

Today, I have been writing down a lot of ideas for new posts over the next few days. I read at Steve Pavlinas blog that he writes his blog entries for the week on the preceding weekend. Also, I’m sure he mentioned somewhere that he has about 20 posts on the go and tries not to let it fall below this amount.

The good thing about using my notebook is that I now have some ideas to blog about which will hopefully prevent staring at a blank ‘Write Post’ screen and suffering from a case of writers block.

As I mentioned in the previous post, I’ve had 49 distinct hosts and 333 page requests today. This may not be much to some people, but I’m thrilled and think it’s a great start.

Looking at the pages in my notebook, I can see that many of the next few posts are going to be about setting up my blog to maximise it’s effectiveness in attracting and retaining visitors.

Also, I set up my Contact Me page today. So, please Contact Me (or post comments) with your advice or questions.

See you all tomorrow.
