Day 17 - Roundup

Ok, I didn’t post this entry at the end of Day 17. Neither did I write any other posts yesterday evening.

The reason for this was the occurrence of a minor Domestic Catastrophe. You see, a cloth was left in the sink in our laundry. Our washing machine empties its waste water into this sink. Cloth blocks the plug hole. Flood.

So most of yesterday evening was spent ripping up carpets and underlay - Then mopping up water. The last thing before bed was to crank up the de-humidifier and heaters to the max to try and dry the whole mess up.

Thankfully, the whole Disaster Zone did not look too bad this morning. We decided not to call the insurance again (the same thing happened to us last year - it was my fault that time though so I won’t dwell on it here).

Needless to say - our house remains wireless-less.
