Blog Stubs

August 6, 2005 on 10:16 am | In 31 Days to a Better Blog, Blog Housekeeping, Blogging |

I’ve just spent a while going through my Notebook, checking up on what I can blog about next week for 31 Days to Better Blogging. At the same time I had Wordpress open in the Write Post section - I then had an idea. I’m sure it’s not unique - but I thought - Why don’t I take all my ideas from my notebook and write a quick Draft Post for that idea?

So guess what? That’s just what I did. I’m thinking that each time I log on to my Wordpress Admin I’ll be able to see what Ideas I have had which I wish to Blog about. For want of a better phrase, I shall hereon refer to this practice as writing Blog Stubs. Or even Blog Stubbing.

I took about half an hour of my time to do this. Now I have 12 Blog Stubs sitting in my Admin Section. Each one has a Title and a brief plan of what I want to convey in the Post or Article.

At the same time, it gives me some idea of what Categories I would like to add to my Blog.

I reckon this will really pay dividends when I am somewhere without my notebook, but have time to write.
